This morning is Craft Sale Day in the main hall.
This afternoon, we went over to Bibleville with Jeanelle and Ralph Barry, for the Blackwood Brothers Quartet concert. Us and about eight hundred other winter Texans!
The Bibleville Buckaroos entertained until it was time for the BBQ concert. (That’s funny!)
Jeanelle coming back from checking out the CD table in the foyer.
The Bibleville chaplain gave the invocation and introduced the quartet.

The Best-Known Name in Gospel Music History
The Blackwood Brothers Quartet was formed in 1934 with brothers Roy, Doyle, James and Roy's, son R.W. That heritage of gospel music is carried on today as James' sons Jimmy and Billy along with tenor Wayne Little, bass Randy Byrd and pianist Mike Hammontree present a modern-day version of that great quartet.
Tenor Wayne Little, Jimmy and Billy Blackwood.
Billy Blackwood, bass Randy Byrd, and keyboardist, Mike Hammontree.
At intermission, Billy walked by us sitting on the folding chairs at the back of the auditorium. All the other pictures I took using the zoom feature on my camera.
Jimmy, who looks most like his dad, James Blackwood, and the youngest brother, Billy.
Wayne, hitting a really high note.
The concert was great and we ended our afternoon with dinner at Cracker Barrel. We got stuck on the freeway for about twenty minutes, but we spent that time visiting with Ralph and Jeanelle. Thanks, sweet friends, for a wonderful afternoon of music, fellowship and food.
