Greetings from Arizona City, AZ,

The Savannah has landed.  That's "code" for: we made it to our Arizona destination:  Quail Run RV Resort, Arizona City, AZ!  Thank you for praying for our safety.  You know who you are and we appreciate all prayers.

The time spent with family and friends during October was wonderful.  We miss our news friends in Branson and have plans for some of them to visit us here this winter.  Don is feeling much better after his battle with the Branson allergies.

We had our first worship service yesterday and it went very well. We've had positive reports from the resort manager.

Once more God has provided someone to do music for us.  However, they will be absent from the park for about 3 months later on in the season, so please join us in prayer for more people with musical and singing talent to volunteer.  We just know that God has gifted some of these lovely folks with musical talent and they need a place to use their gifts.

The park is not yet full, but more are arriving daily.  As the congregation here grows, we are praying for people who are "hearers" and "doers" in this community.  As we explained to them in Sunday's service, Christian Resort Ministries, International is not only a ministry to the RV world, but also a way for the RV'ers to minister to the world, locally and ... internationally.

We have already met many people and God has used us to encourage and pray for several of the work campers.  As always and so important, pray with us regarding reaching those here who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal savior.  Also, pray that we will find favor and that God will cause us to be attractive in our character, conduct and conversation, always remembering who we are in Christ.

We have met with a couple of little "hitches."   First, our cell phone service stops about a mile from the park.  Something about a mountain being in the way of the tower.  Don't believe the TV commercial about AT&T being available everywhere.  Oops, was a name just dropped?  Second, we have to pay for WiFi to be able to stay in contact with you and do our "business."  In a lot of parks, WiFi is a free service, but not here.

We are grateful to Trinity Baptist Church in Casa Grande for loaning us the Beth Moore series entitled "To Live is Christ."  LaVon is planning to do this study with the ladies here at Quail Run.  Pray for much interest and a wonderful time together with the Lord as she gets to know and love these ladies.  Please pray for this time of growing as the Lord leads you.

Don is planning a prayer/devotional time each week with the men .  We are expecting God to do glorious and wonderful things among the folks of the Quail Run RV Resort.

Local wildlife report:  We saw our first roadrunner today.

Local weather report:  High today is supposed to be in the 90's.  Don keeps saying, "But it's a dry heat."  LaVon says, "Doesn't matter, it's still HOT."  Weather guessers here say it is unusually hot for November here in the valley (dessert).

Have a great day, love you, pass it on,

Don & LaVon

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to my God upon every remembrance of you.
