Wednesday - Van Horn, TX to Willcox, AZ

Our great and mighty God has certainly blessed us with perfect traveling weather.  This morning is another beautiful morning as we pull out of the Eagle's Nest.Van Horn, Texas On every travel day, we get into the truck and pray and praise the LORD before we move an inch.

As we leave Van Horn, I will just tell you that I learned that quite a few movies have been partially filmed in or near this town, including Lonesome Dove.

A great day with friends

early AM Hwy 87 Fredericksburg to San Antonio We had made prior arrangements to see friends who are currently in San Antonio, so just after 8:00 AM, we were on the way to San Antone.

We met Joyce at the IHOP.  We met Joyce at Quail Run last year and it was wonderful to see her again.  She will be staying in San Antonio through the winter. Joyce Cooley & Don at IHOP in SA Afterwards, we did a little shopping at the Wal-Mart close by and then we headed over a few miles to see Nancy and George.  "George, we have company!" They have been completing some SOWERS projects for the International Bible College.  George built these cabinets for them.  That's rods on the right for hanging freshly ironed table clothes.George Reid showing Don the cabinets he built at SA SOWERS project. The walls in the auditorium are covered with flags from the nations represented by students that have attended IBC. 100_1040 The foyer is still decorated for Christmas.100_1044 The admin offices are in this house.100_1045 A great slogan.International Bible College, San Antonio, TX George and Nancy after the wonderful lunch that she prepared for us of salad and homemade veggie soup.George & Nancy Reid while in SA, TX They will be traveling on to Victoria tomorrow for a few weeks of rest.  We love them so and pray for an awesome 2009 for them.
