Sunday

Midday, we finally got out of the house and went to see Richard and Susan.  Richard had gotten out of the hospital late Friday, but we didn't want to expose him to Don's cold.  Susan showed us X-rays of his leg after the surgery. There's a total of four plates and about 16 screws, bolts and pins. Richard is doing great, but he's in for a long time of rehab and recovery. 

We had lunch at Johnny Carino's and then back home for our Sunday afternoon nap.  About 5:00, we went over to LaNae's to see them before we leave in the morning.  I finally got a good picture of their cat, Timmy. Got some good family pictures, too.

Just before we left, Mike rolled Blaine's birthday present in from the garage. (Monday is actually his birthday) It's too bad it's soooo cold outside. From here, we went over to play dominos with Mama Trudy and say our goodbyes. When we got back to the Quantum, Mike came over to see our "home" as he'd had never seen it.  We watched the Giants beat Carolina in OT and now it's time to go to bed.  Moving day tomorrow!
