The Baker's Blessings
Christian Resort Ministries, Int'l

Praise the Lord, we arrived in Branson on May 3, without any trouble. This being our inaugural trip, we were both excited and a tiny bit apprehensive about pulling the 5th wheel up these hills. However, knowing that both the purchase of our truck and RV were God directed, we trusted Him and began our ministry with joy. We got set up here at Oak Grove RV Park and met some nice people the very first day. Barry across the street was so helpful as we were leveling the RV and hooking up to all the utilities.

As Don & Barry were working, LaVon was socializing. Camille was out walking and stopped to talk. Camille & Mike Wilson and 5 children also live across the street, until December. During their visit, LaVon shared our mission with Camille and she was thrilled that we are here as chaplain for the park and will be doing a Sunday worship service. There is no planning coordinator that can match our Lord..... Mike is a praise & worship leader/keyboard player!! We met Mike and he has the most humble servant's heart and loves working with us in ministry.

While we were shopping for a keyboard, Don's daughter, Stephanie, called and guess what??? ... she has a keyboard not being used and brought it to us while we were in OKC.

We were here a week and returned (without the RV) to Oklahoma City for Don’s mother’s surgery. Gratefully, we inform you that her mastectomy was successful and she will not have to have chemo or radiation treatment. She remains in great spirits and is rejoicing. Many thanks to Don's sister, Debbie and Aunt Bernice and Uncle Eddy for taking care of her after surgery.

Returning to Branson the following Saturday, finding our RV park almost completely empty and the owners quite concerned. He said this was the least amount of RV-ers ever. What to do, what to do? Well, pray, of course. Don prayed and asked God to fill this park, knowing that He did not bring us here for nothing. Before the day ended there were three more RV’s in the park. This week, the flow of camper trailers, 5th wheels and coaches into the park has been steady and now the park is FULL. Praise God for answering our prayer and praise Him for showing the workers in this park that God hears and cares about His children.

One of the RV’s that pulled in last night was an evangelist and his family. We were so blessed this morning to have the Marvin Musick Ministries in our service here at this park. Marvin and Shauna’s 5 children sang and played the keyboard and 2 violins. They ranged in age from 17 to 4. What a joy and blessing! The last two Sundays we had nine in attendance; this morning we had 20. Several of the workers came and a couple from Michigan, also. Bro. Musick preached and we know God was glorified. We were very grateful that the Musick’s took care of our 9:30 a.m. service as Don is again struggling with another cold, especially sore throat and runny nose.

Don & Mike Wilson (music) did their first service across the street at the KOA park. There were 30 in attendance and we had a great time of worship and fellowship and remembering our veterans and loved ones on this Memorial Day weekend.

The KOA park serves breakfast everyday so we will go a few mornings each week and believe this will be a great way to meet the campers and workers and get to know them and serve their spiritual needs.

Don and Dennis Maloney (director of CRM) found a place to have a sign made that announces to new arrivals about the Sunday morning worship service here at Oak Grove. This was suggested by the owner of the park and the sign will be placed right out front for all to see. Daily we praise God how He moves in the hearts of people.

Make no mistake, our enemy does not want us to communicate with you all, sharing how our awesome God is working. Our laptop "died" deader than a door knob, as they say. So, we went to Springfield this week to purchase a new one. We have lost everything that was on it, but we count it all joy.

God has answered all the prayers we asked you to pray with us about. Praise His Holy Name.

Our continuing prayer is that most of all, people would feel our love and come to know Jesus as their Savior through God's ministering to them through us. And that Believers we meet will be encouraged in their walk with our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you and may God bless you as you partner with us in this ministry with your prayers and support as God directs.

We love you… pass it on.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20).

We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:20-21).
