Waco - Day 4 - Sunday

Leslie whipped up some chicken enchilados last night and put them in the frig to cook this morning so they'd be ready for lunch after church. I made guacamole to take. We drove it over to Leslie's before church. There's Clifford, the toy that Pook gave us to travel with us. We enjoyed worship service this morning. Especially the music. That could be due to the fact that Leslie sings on the worship team. Leslie & family attend the United Methodist Church in Waco. In a day when it seems difficult to find Christians who really bend at the knee, we are always amazed and delighted at the number of people who make their way to the altar to pray; individuals, couples, people meeting other people at the altar to pray with them. It's such a blessing to see and feel the Holy Spirit moving and people responding.

The enchilados were delicious. Billie, Khalil's mom, brought salad. Les added refried beans and rice to the meal with chips. It was a Mexican feast.

Again this afternoon, Leslie had to work. We stayed with Pook & Deisel... naps were the order of the afternoon and then playing in the yard in the sunshine. Diesels beautiful red hair glistens in the sunlight.

Pook runs toward me. Diesel points toward Shiner, the dog.Shiner, the dog.Billie brought Parmesan Garlic bread loaf and all the sandwich fixin's and we had dinner out on the patio. Very yummy!
Don and I came home around 7:00. Tomorrow will start early for me, as I will go over to Leslie's at 6:30 AM so she can go to work... breakfast for the Heritage Alumni. I get to take Pook to school and Diesel to daycare and then Don and I have a few things we need to get done before we pick them up at 3:00.
Paying everyone had a blessed Sunday and all our Quail Run friends are having a safe and wonderful time.
