Dave & Darlene have landed in Ft. Payne, Alabama for a week or so, visiting with his brother and family, Playing with new twin babies.
Next stop will be Michigan to see parents.
In Dave's words, "Hammond, La. was a double hoot." Sure would love to know what that means. I know they rode the swamps in an airboat... Darlene said it was great! Dave went catfishing in the Lake Pontchartrain and caught 19 (we sure need pictures.. not that we don't believe you), which they cleaned and had a fish fry with beans, rice and corn bread. Don is very jealous, both of the fishing and the eating of fried catfish!
