Prayer request - urgent

Don received an email yesterday from Linda & Ray Poyer, friends we met at Quail Run:

WE HEARD FROM PHIL AND ARLENE YESTERDAY AND HE HAD BAD NEWS ABOUT THE FISHERS...LES AND BEV (from Minnesota)....LES WORKED MAINTENANCE WITH RAY..AND BEV MADE JEWELRY..SHE WAS ALSO SPORTING A CAST FROM RECENT CARPEL TUNNEL SURGERY...WELL THEY SOLD THEIR BIG 450 TRUCK AND THEIR FIFTH WHEEL AND WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A SMALLER TRUCK AND A REGULAR TRAVEL TRAILER TO TOW....THEY'D BEEN WANTING TO DO THIS AFTER THEY PURCHASED A TOWNHOME IN CASA GRANDE....THEY'D PLANNED NOT TO MOVE INTO THE TOWNHOUSE FOR A COUPLE MORE YEARS WANTING TO TRAVEL A BIT MORE.....WELL AS THEY WERE TRAVELING THROUGH ALBUQUERQUE... THE STRONG WINDS CAUGHT THEM AND FLIPPED BOTH THE TRUCK AND THE TRAILER,  WRECKING BOTH....LES WAS OKAY AS HE HAD HIS SEATBELT ON...BUT I GUESS BEV NEVER WORE HERS AND WAS INJURED VERY BADLY.....BREAKING HER NECK, BACK,  BREASTBONE, AND POSSIBLY AN ARM AND LEG  .THE LAST NEWS WE GOT FROM PHIL LAST NIGHT WAS THAT SHE WAS STILL IN SURGERY AFTER SIX HRS....THEY NEED PRAYER....PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ALL YOU KNOW....

THE POLICE WERE QUITE HELPFUL AND GATHERED UP WHAT BELONGINGS THEY COULD AND PUT THEM IN A STORAGE FOR THEM.  LES HAS RESERVED A ROOM IN A MOTEL FOR A MONTH...I'LL GET IN TOUCH WITH PHIL FOR MORE INFO...RAY WILL CALL LES ALSO.   THEIR NUMBER IS 678-644-1276 AND THEIR E-MAIL IS Fisher5632@aol.com.

P.S.   WE'RE IN EL PASO AND WILL HEAD TOWARDS THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY TOMORROW.

Merciful Father, We pray for Bev and ask for a healing touch from You, the Great Physician. We pray that Bev will come through surgery and that the surgeons will be able to repair every broken bone and every physical problem.  We ask you to provide the best care available for Bev and a miraculous recovery.  Comfort both Bev and Les with peace and faith in You.  We pray for friends, family and strangers to be available to Les for prayer and comfort and support and meet every need.  Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of knowing Bev & Les and being a part of the family of believers across the U.S. who are praying for them and loving them.  Hebrews chapter 4:16 tells us to “draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Help us all to grow closer to You, Heavenly Father, during this time and continue to praise You for You are good, all the time. We ask these things because of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and in His Name alone.  Amen.
