Today was our first two-services Sunday and God was faithful to supply Don with the strength and energy needed.
How many sermons have you heard on fasting? Not many, eh? That was the topic of Don's sermon this morning. Yes, fasting. It's right there in the Bible in more than one place. Fasting is even a topic in Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6:16-18.
Friends, Joel and Linda, came to the second service this morning and then we went to Macayo's for lunch. Back at the Q we enjoyed a few games of Zilch and relaxed and then took Joel and Linda to the Sarah Getto concert. It was wonderful. She is fantastic! We had a great time and had fun watching their reaction when we told them we were from Norman, Oklahoma, also.
