Kris New Flash!!

Dear Friends and Loved Ones!

Time for a mid-week news flash!  The email update I sent out Sunday was forwarded to a lot of folks, as always, by Kris's husband, Russ.   He evidently sent it to the right people down at Brooke Army Medical Center.  In fact, one person he sent it to is a VA administration liaison who has the ear of the insurance companies as well as the surgeons at BAMC.  And she's good at her job!!!  She contacted the insurance company and made a few inquiries and we found out this afternoon the Botox injections are approved!  Kris should have that any day now.

Now for the rest of the news.  It seems that same liaison met with the neurosurgeon today and we were notified also this afternoon that Kris's surgery has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 7th.  If you recall, her meeting with the neurosurgeon to simply discuss how well she's doing and consider her surgery was to be the 8th.  Well, that meeting is now set for next Wednesday, 9/1... and she'll have all her pre-op work done that day, too.  Wow!

Between the dear administration liaison along with Kris's case worker from the military, everything is now set.  We are so excited, albeit, just a little pensive.  It is going to be major, major surgery after all, and... well... we just have to have all you prayer warriors on full alert again!  So please, if you will, spread the word.  Pray the neurosurgeon and his staff who assist will do everything right.  It's her one big chance to get everything back to normal.  Kris has come so far; now the final piece of the puzzle is necessary to accomplish the rest of her healing and strengthening and getting better.

I will keep you all informed, of course.  We've been praying about this for a little while now, and I can't believe how quickly God answers prayers!  Wow!  You gotta love those angels who know the system, too!

Blessings and love,

Carol and George

Haven’t posted a picture of our favorite AM/Major/ Nurse, lately.  This Kris pre-car wreck on April 21, 2010.  Carol and George Kline are good friends of ours and Kris is their daughter (for my FB friends who are reading this for the first time. All other updates are in the archives.)  We are praying, praying, praying for Kris’s complete recovery and praising God for what He is doing, seen and unseen.Kris in Iraq

Great news for Kris! I have been praying for her on a nightly basis and will continue to do so. Thanks for keeping us undated. This is just another success story of God. Love hearing about them all the time.
