Count the barns

It’s time to travel back to the Q, so climb in and enjoy the scenes.

Highway 65 from Branson to Springfield.100_1897

Just one of the reasons why I hate interstate traveling.  Yes, I said “hate.”  So glad we aren’t pulling.100_1901

Same one only closer.100_1909

A full picture would have been nice, but I like this.100_1911-1

I love this house.  It just screams, “Life was simpler.”100_1912

Two.100_1915

Three.100_1938

Four.  Another reason why I hate interstate travel… great picture and then…. what??? a tacky billboard.100_1940

There!  I fixed it.100_1940-1

Does anyone know why I took this picture?100_1945-1

I call this one “Wires and Flags.”100_1946

Continuing my romance with Old Glory.2010 June 01 Branson to the Q-1

We are now officially in the same state as our Q!100_1953100_1954-1

Five.100_1955

Six.100_1963

What cows do when it’s 95 degrees in Oklahoma.100_1966

Unusually blue water for Oklahoma.  Peaceful.100_1968

What is this???  This can not be good.  How in the world did this happen, we wondered.100_1978

Seven.  Not old barns, but a nice farm scene, anyway.100_1973

The very red Arkansas River in Tulsa.100_1984

Just a little contrast to all the countryside scenes.100_1985

Taken just before we stopped at the McD over that last hill and Don gave me the keys to drive the last hour of our trip “home.”  That was the end of my picture taking for the day.100_1989

We had a wonderful trip and it’s great to be back in our Q.  Thank You, Lord, for our safe trip.  [Somewhere on the highway above, a sink hole appeared the next day, tomorrow, June 2 (I’m almost caught up with my blogging)]Yes!  Thank You, Jesus for protecting us!!!

Like the barns and the countryside scenery. Can't figure out why you took that picture of the stream though, if I'm in the right day??? We made it big and the only thing I see different is the "dead" trees and the redish stream. Why? Is it different?
