Yeah! I finally get to spend the afternoon with Snookie!!
First, we opened our 'house' for the intercessory prayer meeting. There were nine here and so was the Holy Spirit. We prayed about a major concern (and spiritual threat) for this park and God answered this prayer before noon. Praise God!!
Next, I had to go to the printer to get a flyer printed for church Sunday. Sunscape is helping a few local teenagers go to Christian camp this summer up in the Prescott area and we made copies of the flyer for the church and those who want to be a part of providing scholarships.
I took a few interesting pictures while driving through Casa Grande. I don't know what this is or was, but it sure looks like it could have a history of interest. The First Baptist Church of Casa Grande. Looks more like a mission, doesn't it?
Snookie and I made plans to meet at the Promenade Shopping Center in front of Penney's. We had a great time visiting over lunch at Mimi's. Then we hit a few shops. Here, we were in the World Import store. Snookie's trying to figure out where one would use a table with different length legs. Sure would be treacherous for me to sit in the chair on the box. Ah! Snookie finally read the info: ADJUSTABLE legs. (We don't shop much... both full-time RV'ers) ;~/ We liked the colorful Adirondack chairs. Snookie, aren't you glad I didn't post the picture of us wearing the madras hats???!!
All too soon, it was time for me to return to Sunscape and Snookie had grocery shopping to do. We sure hope we have a chance to do this again before we leave this area.
Tonight was our Experiencing God study. We're in the unit about obedience being costly. Doesn't sound encouraging, does it, but it's well worth any and all costs.
We got home to see the last part of AI, but not in time to see Danny Gokey or Scott McIntyre.
Don's tooth is still very sensitive. At Bible study tonight, Tim Pruit said he has the name of a local dentist that his mom and dad use, who is pretty reasonable. That would save us from a trip to Mexico which we figure would be pretty exhausting, but we may have to take that route.
We are so blessed. We pray blessings for you.
