Concerned about the future?

The Beatles

For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

In 1962 a recording company expert said, "We don't think the Beatles will do anything in their market. Guitar groups are on their way out."

Obviously that recording company could not look into the future and see the enormous success the Beatles would have. If they could, they would have signed them to their label immediately. Instead, they let the fear of the unknown hold them back from taking part in one of the world's most popular and, no doubt, most lucrative music groups.

As Christians, though, as we look down the road and cannot see what the future holds, we don't have to let the fear of the unknown hold us back from participating in the opportunity of a lifetime. We are blessed to have a God who knows what lies ahead, and we can trust Him because the Bible tells us He plans to give us a future and a hope. All we have to do is live according to His Word, leave the details up to Him, and allow Him to guide us into His will.  David Jeremiah

Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it by the handle of anxiety, or by the handle of faith.
