Another busy day. Don and I got almost everything put away in it's place. Don in his happy place. The galley. Don in his other happy place. We went to Taylor's baseball game at 2:00 PM. Here Taylor is pitching for the first time in his "career." He got a strike-out and the coach gave the ball to Stephanie for Taylor after the game. He was the closer and only pitched the last inning. We were all very proud of him. After the game, we all went to the LifeChurch.tv worship service at Sheridan and 41st St. It was a very interesting experience as we watched the sermon via a simulcast on huge screens. The music portion of the service was live and on stage. These ministers are definitely stepping outside the box to reach today's people with the gospel, which I am happy to say, was not changed, but the same, as the speaker challenged us all to examine how genuine our worship of Jesus Christ really is.
From church, we drove to downtown Tulsa to check out the Mayfest. Lots and lots of craft and food vendors and lots of people. I have never been downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma before, so I took these pictures of some of the buildings, old and new.
Here's oldest grandson, Dillon with girlfriend, Holly. And Papa Don with granddaughter, Madison.
