Well, may I just say that "God is good all the time!" We have been praying about several things for quite some time now and God's timing is impeccable.
I first want to praise him for answered prayer in the area of NO rain yesterday as we were moving all of our belongings from the Savannah to our new Quantum!! That's right!
Walker RV Center in Moore, OK, had made a purchase of 40 2008 Quantums from another dealer who had to go out of business. Walker got a great deal on all 40 and was then able to pass great savings on to us. So we were able to purchase a new 5th wheel at the same price we would have paid for a 2005 or newer used 5th wheel of comparable size & style. We are very pleased and so thankful, as we hooked on today to head to Tulsa and the sun is shining and the wind is not gusting above 15 mph. Don says it pulls like a dream... Mor/Ryde™ Suspension & Pin Box is the cat's pj's!
Thank you for praying for our safety as we travel. We will be in Tulsa for a week and then on to Branson, Missouri for our summer ministry "assignment." We are excited to meet up with old friends, to make new friends and to see what God has in store for us.
We just stopped for lunch and I had left a bottle of water sitting on the floor at the top of the bathroom steps... it was still sitting right where I left it. I was sure it would be turned over and rolling all over the floor. Guess that's a testimony as to how smoothly this rig pulls down the rode over bumps and around corners and curves. Wow.
We still have things in boxes to be emptied, but the first thing that will get done is to find my Kodak EasyShare station so I can transfer the pictures that I've taken and re-charge the camera. It's "dead" and my spare battery is in a box in the 5'er some where.
We said goodbye to LaNae and family last night. They got home about 6:00 PM, bearing gifts from Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. They had a wonderful time and we were all happy to have them home safe and sound. Mike and LaNae had been up for almost 30 hours and were so tired.
We said goodbye to Don's mother Tuesday when we went to see her. She cooked lunch for us and topped it off with her wonderful homemade peach cobbler.
Last night, we spent the night with Mama Trudy and kissed her goodbye this morning.
[We just met about a dozen Corvettes!]
Now, we are on our way to see Stephanie and family. Hopefully, we will get to see the boys play baseball at least once.
Goodness! Cherry Hill RV park is very near the Arkansas River, but we can't see it from the park because there's a levy between us and the river. Maybe we can walk over it.
Don has gone in to register and find out what site we're in. I'm so excited to get our new home set up and ready. We're set up, but not ready inside. Will take pics soon and post.
Stay tuned as I get caught up with pictures and the last two weeks!

Congrats on your new home! It looks beautiful.
We are so happy for you on the new 5'er. Rick is a little disappointed that he couldn't beat up the salesperson, though. LOL Make sure you take pics of the inside. Love you guys.
Congratulations! It's beautiful! Did you take your recliners from the old one and put them in this one? We want pics from inside too!
