goodbyes and flat tires

After getting all packed up and ready to hook their car to the WM, Bob & Barb came over to visit a little this morning and to say goodbye. Then I decided I want to take pictures of their departure. You know, hitching the car, waving goodbye as they roll out of the park. So unsuspecting of what's ahead, they pose for a picture by WM. Hey, what's this???? That's a hole in the extended air stem. Looks like this tire is flat, but it's actually the inside tire that's flat, putting all the weight on this outside tire. And these tires are brand new. After several phone calls and Good Sam roadside service coming out, it was determined that they would have to put air in it and drive very carefully to Discount Tires in Casa Grande to have it replaced. Mel Woods gratiously offered the use of his air compressor. After goodbyes, again, the Rueschs pulled out of the park. Thankfully, their destination for today is Surprise, AZ.
The rest of the afternoon was laundry, a delicious home-cooked dinner by Don and more March Madness. Yeah, Sooners! We're still alive.
Can't wait until tomorrow! Shhhh.
