update from CRM Intl

Snookie & Darlene gettin' some rays. Need a new level... Dave's got one he doesn't use that someone gave him. Thanks, Dave! We are feeling a warmth in the air. It's a glorious day of sunshine and gentle breezes here in the Arizona desert valley. We enjoyed being out and visiting with neighbors this morning.

Yesterday was another day of good news for Christian Resort Ministries, International. Major ministry partners joining the ministry in the Branson, Missouri area. We are rejoicing in the victory as we continue to pray and believe that God has wonderful plans for CRM. Don and I are in awe that we have the privilege of being a part of this "helping hands" ministry. While we were in Branson last summer, we were a part of beginning a "helping hands" ministry there. Wounded and down-and-out people everywhere, need Jesus Christ in their lives, but they also need physical, medical, and mental help. CRM is all about meeting those needs and sharing the love of Christ with them as their physical needs are being met. CRM is also about teaching these people real life skills... giving them a hand-up instead of a hand-out. The report we received is that all these things are becoming a reality very quickly in the Branson area. We believe in the vision God has given those of us with CRM of duplicating the "helping hands" ministry across the U.S., Canada and Mexico to love people and further the work of Jesus Christ wherever He leads us.

Because of how bad Don felt while we were there last summer, we didn't think we would ever go back to Branson, Missouri for any length of time, but, hey... what do we know? :-) There is a strong indication that we may spend another summer working in Branson. We are definitely praying about this, for peace and direction from the Lord. Our dear General Director (DGG) considers this an answer to his prayers and he's now in the "thanking the Lord" stage, since he and his DW will be in the Branson area this summer, also. Branson, Mo. will be/is the national headquarters for CRM Intl.
