made to order weather

Last night, we enjoyed the Rebecca Dawn show in the Carnaval room. She performs in Branson at Charlie's Ribs-Steaks-Ale Restaurant. Wow, did she have a lot of energy. She spent more time among the audience than she did on stage, which was very entertaining. During her tribute to those who have served in our military, she had Rick Fury stand and sing the Marines song, "Halls of Montezuma." She got George Becker on the stage while she sang to him, put on fresh red lipstick and planted it on his cheek. Her husband, Joe, ran the sound system and entertained with various songs and costumes during her wardrobe changes. This morning, it is absolutely a glorious day. Hopefully, this is the beginning of the kind of weather Arizona advertises in the winter.

Director of Missions for this area, Tim Pruitt, came by for a visit this morning. Always good to see Tim. Can't believe I didn't take his picture. Maybe I can get a pic of Tim and his beautiful wife, Lori, before we leave. Our friends at the Macomb Baptist Church will know who I am speaking of.
