We left Pahrump around 9:30 AM this morning. No wind. Sunshine.NV 160 to US 95. With his eagle eyes, Don saw this jet take off, make a big circle and land again. (I never saw a thing.) By the time we got parallel with it, it appeared to be ready to take off again. This is part of Creech Air Force Base, Indian Springs, NV. under the command of Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV.
We made it through Las Vegas about 11:00 AM.
We think this is a field of solar panels, but we're not sure. We're back in the Joshua Trees.
Crossed the Colorado River at Needles, CA - 93 degrees.Interstate 40 East is very rough!
A golf course in Kingman, AZ.2:50 PM; 82 degrees--Stopping, after 300 + miles, west of Kingman, AZ at a place called Blake Ranch RV Park and Horse Motel. We're tired. Interstate 40 is mega rough. This is a very, very nice park and they cater to overnighters. Overnight rate is $25 for our size rig less our Good Sam discount. Ten cable TV channels. The owner provides you with a wifi pass code if you have a computer.Relaxing and enjoying the nice breeze. We have a tree!We took a walk around the park and visited with the owner for a little bit. Don explained our ministry to Peggy and she told us that a local church does a Bible study here once a week. My favorite view from the park. There's an Iron Skillet Restaurant within walking distance from the Blake Ranch RV Park. This huge antique road grader is in front of the office, laundry, store area. It would take several teams of mules or horses to pull this iron machine.Peggy's license plate translate to "RV AT OUR PARK."
Thank for your prayers for our safe traveling. We are very grateful and thankful to God for His care for us.
