Groom, Texas - 2nd Largest Cross in the Western Hemisphere

I've received pictures of this place in emails before, but we've not been here before today. Don was here years ago when there was just the Cross here.  So much has been added and continues to be added.  Click here -->> to read about the history of this cross.100_5236

"Why? What evil has he done?"
They shouted louder,
"Crucify Him."
Mark 15:14
Pilate called for water and
washed his hands in front of
the crowd, declaring, "I am
innocent of the blood of
this just man." Matthew 27:24

all my bones are racked...
my throat is dried up

to the dust of death
you have brought me down."

Jesus on the Cross between
the two thieves as seen from the
foot of Calvary. Notice the Cross
in the walkway as you approach
the steps. At the top of Calvary you
are at 3300 feet above sea level.

JESUS IS CRUCIFIED
AND DIES ON THE CROSS
FOR OUR SINS
"Just as Moses lifted up the
serpent in the desert,
so must the son of man be
lifted up, so that everyone
who believes in him
may have eternal life."
"For God so loved the world
that he gave his only son, so
that everyone who believes
in him might not perish but
might have eternal life."
John 3:14-16
