Every time we are in the Norman area for a while, we try to make it out to Macomb Baptist Church for a Sunday morning service. Bro. Thom asked Don to speak briefly and I was a little nervous that Don would start preaching, because he's been out of the pulpit for several weeks now. Bro. Thom wouldn't have minded, but Don wouldn't do that. For readers who don't remember, Macomb Baptist is where Don was the pastor the first year of our marriage.
Bro. Thom is retiring due to health complications and next Sunday will be his last Sunday as the pastor. He is a dear man.

After church, we met Mama Trudy, Tommy and Tammy for lunch at Coach's in downtown Norman. We sat out on the patio and it was a little bright for MT, so she borrowed Tommy's sunshades.
What divas!! My mama is so much fun.
My lunch. Very good. I recommend Coach's to any one traveling through Norman looking for a place to eat that's uniquely Norman.
Tammy was asking Mama Trudy if she was wanting to ride the motorcycle parked by their car? She passed... not lady-like to ride in a dress... and it wasn't a Harley.
