Dillon's Day

Today is Dillon Vaughan's graduation day, but that's tonight at 7:30 PM at the Coweta Tigers Stadium.  First we have to find ways to pass the time of day. 

Flowers! But of course, Stephanie has flowers.  Beautiful petunias. Zinnias of all colors.Lantanas.The Calla Lily she got for Mother's Day.Stephanie and Rick's home is so pretty, so I took a few pics of the front.  The backyard is still very mushy from all the rain they've gotten this Spring.  Rick recently put this birdhouse up for Steph.Across the street is the golf course where we all hit a ball last evening. Steph, Don and I spent the morning going to breakfast, shopping at Kohl's (Don and I just walked around and looked.) Finally, it was 4:00 PM and time to go to Coweta for Dillon's graduation party.  First, we had to pick up the cake.  While waiting in the truck, I mentioned how I like Logan's shirt, so he suggested I take his picture."Did you get a picture of my pants? No? OK, here, take another one."  No prob.  I'm your average compliant grandmother type, especially if it involves a camera. Nice khakis, Logan, you look really handsome.The cake we picked up that Don had to carry in his lap.  It was double taped so he couldn't even sneak a taste.At Dillon's graduation party, Rocky welcomes Logan.Words of wisdom from Papa Don for the graduate or just conversation about college choices?Dillon has a HUGE back yard, so the guys had fun.I made friends with this beauty next door.Taylor brought carrots and this strawberry roan came right up and ate them out of our hands. Here, he's still trying to find something to nibble on. Lots of family and friends and plenty of good food.Rick and Dillon's uncle Hance Dilbeck.  Hance is the pastor of the Quail Springs Baptist Church in north OKC and he was the pastor at FBC Noble when I joined there back in 1995. Had not seen he and Julie since they left Noble.Did I tell you that the guys loved this backyard? Isn't he cute?
