Easter is over, but the Power of Easter will never be over. Are you still rejoicing in Jesus' resurrection? Are you still amazed by God's power and love? I am overwhelmed as I think about what Jesus endured, all for the sake of restoring us to God. And I'm filled with excitement as I realize that death has no power over those of us who are in Christ! That's not just a promise for later; it's a promise for now.
Even when we think we are forsaken and lost in our sins, when we feel like the whole world is against us, we must remember that God is still in the business of restoration! Death and sin don't have power over us when our lives belong to Christ.
