It was great to get back to our Thursday Couples' Bible Study this morning. We always enjoy our time with this wonderful group.
Afterwards, we all decided to meet a the Golden Corral for lunch. In the parking lot, John Cartwright showed me this dove sitting on her nest. She is a larger than her little nest.
Upon arriving back at the park, we stopped over to Jack and Kathy's. Kathy makes these wonderful fleece throws with crocheted edging. These two are for Mama Trudy and me!
Kathy does beautiful work. Mama Trudy is going to be as thrilled as I am. I think the red one is for her.
Next, I went back over to the Chapman's and applied a coat of polyurethane to our table.
Tomorrow, I will sand it a little more to smooth out any rough places and apply another coat. It's looking so good. Bruce did such a good job. It's exactly what we wanted.
Lori and Norm made it home to Michigan this afternoon. As did Margie and Larry. Praise the Lord! We sure know a lot of wonderful folks in Michigan!
It is Thursday....
Matthew 20
17As Jesus was about to go up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside by themselves, and on the way He said to them,
18"Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death,
19and will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and scourge and crucify Him, and on the third day He will be raised up."
