Recovering

Don had a really rough morning with fever, chills and his head in the trash can, but tonight he’s much better.  He’s been drinking Power Ade and that seems to be replacing what he’s lost from his body.  Thanks for this suggestion from our Leslie.

Maybe he will feel like preparing Sunday’s Coming tomorrow.  Thanks for your prayers for him.

About 7:00 this morning, I had to go to the “watering hole” to get filtered water.  The Saguaro by the Club House now has eight blooms open.100_2920100_2921

And the giant Ocotillo by the pool is in full bloom.100_2926

Today was windy and cool here today, so I spent the day inside.

Mama Trudy is feeling better today than the last few days.  I can’t wait to get to Georgia to see her.

Received several emails from friends across the country.  We love hearing from our friends.

Talked to Lori and Norm on Skype.  They look wonderful and are getting settled in at their home in Michigan.

Talked to Wendy on the phone and they are getting settled in their summer workamping job in Washington.  It’s very cool there today, too.

Daughter Leslie called.  Khalil is enjoying his new job, three days into it.  He was off at 4:30 p.m. today and he said that felt so strange, but very nice.  He’s had to keep long hours all of his career.  Leslie and the kids will love having daddy home in the afternoons and weekends.

Daughter LaNae hurt her back at work.  And… is dying a blue streak in her hair because she, good coach that she is, promised her volleyball team, the team granddaughter Lydia plays on, that if they won their tournament this past weekend, she would dye a blue streak in her hair.  I know, I need pictures!!

Don has retired to the bed and I am enjoying looking at Leslie’s newest digi-scrapbooking pages.  Her journaling is so good.

May God bless your evening and visit your dreams.
