Friday… gone to the birds.

Garth Hall update:  Late last night, Garth was moved back to ICU due to almost passing out when he got up.  There are blood clots in his lungs today and he has been put on Heparin (very strong blood thinner) to help dissolve the blood clots.  Please pray for Garth and Shari.

Lee Williams update:  Lee has been transferred to the heart hospital in Chandler.  She may have blockage and is going through a battery of tests.  Thank you for your prayers for Lee, also.

There are other unspoken prayer requests concerning residents here that are just too sensitive to mention.  Thank you for being a prayer warrior with us.

As Don and I walked this morning, we saw this roadrunner.  Wonder what kind of reception these residents are getting?  I bet they keep hearing, “beep, beep; beep, beep.”100_2788

He flew down and hit the ground running.100_2790100_2791

Have you ever seen a bird fly into a window and knock themselves out?  Maybe that’s what happened to this dove?  At least she didn’t forget where her egg is.100_2799

Today was a day for formation sky dive jumping, but I never saw any of it.  Don located one group/formation, but I didn’t.  All I saw was five airplanes flying in formation like geese.

Tonight, we were invited over to Don and Dee Tuttle’s for a fun night of play the card game, Nil.  The gentlemen won the first two games, and the ladies won the last game.  We sure wish we could have spent more time with this couple, but time just has not allowed it.100_2800

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity,
And in whose spirit there is no deceit (Psalm 32:1-2).

Our neighbors want us to play pegs and jokers and we told them about the "stupid" game and they are interested in learning. But it just won't be the same without you two!
