Cactus Garden Views

I can hardly believe how busy we have been and are.  The Lord has given Don some tremendous opportunities to talk to various park residents and for that, we are so grateful.  I know it seems like all we do is play around, take pictures, and blog, but that’s not the case.  God is working here and we are thrilled to be a part of His love and grace; His hands, feet, arms and heart here.  Just know that we appreciate your prayers and to you warriors, just pray as the Lord leads you.

Ok, now to the pictures for today.

Another marching drum major, but actually he was running.100_2639

COLOR is the word for today.  100_2640100_2641

As I looked around, I decided to back out the zoom and just take a few shots of the cactus garden.100_2644

With all the flowers around here, the bees are really busy.100_2656100_2657

At lunch time, sweet friends, Carl and Joy Neuber, invited us to lunch at Mimi’s.  I wish I could relate to you what this couple means to us.  Maybe some day.  For now, just know that they are an inspiration to this entire park.100_2662

Tonight, Rick and Wendy came over for dinner and a final game of cards before they leave for their summer job and adventure Saturday.  Their adventure really has already started as Rick sprained his ankle earlier this week, severely.  Traveling and working should be interesting for the next several weeks.  Poor Wendy.100_2663

See you two soon! (Skype me!!)100_2664

I’m going to miss you, Wendy.100_2666

Oh, ok, I’ll miss you, too, Tricky Ricky. (like a toothache or a hangnail or a migraine) ;-)  Don’s going to miss you, too.  Good card game partners are hard to find. (Ornery stinker.)100_2665

Tomorrow…. well, we shall see what tomorrow brings.

God bless everyone.
