We woke up at 5:30 and decided to get up and get ready for the day. First thing, with coffee, we wanted to watch the sunrise.
Well, that didn’t happen. Oh, for sure, the sun came up, but we couldn’t see it for the clouds.
As it got brighter, it got foggier.
This is a pretty condo complex.
We watched a bunch of flocks of pelicans flying north, in formation, just like geese. I didn’t know they did that. We decided this lone pelican got lost from the flock. I have no idea how I achieved this effect of the circles, but thought it was pretty.
I had to get a picture of Don in his happy place. He wishes I would leave him alone and let him enjoy it, but he tolerates the camera.
Sadly, leaving SPI and good friends behind.
That sure looks like a gorilla.
We’re back at the Q! When we left SPI, it was in the low 60’s. When we got back, it was 86 degrees here. Barbie, across the street, was out enjoying the rays.
Jim and Paula will be back to their park in Donna in a few days and we will get together again. Can’t wait!
