Cooler temps in north Georgia, USA

I whipped up a pan of brownies.  (Easier than the meal yesterday.)

Don put on his sandals.

I said, “Where are you going?”

Don said, “To get ice cream to go with my brownie. You want anything to go with your brownie?”

I said, “Yes, a hamburger.”

Don brought back the fixin’s and grilled hamburgers.

He’s the best!!!100_3093Have you ever tried those thin buns?  We love them.  Not so much bread but enough to hold the burger together, plus they come in whole wheat, which we prefer.

“Sit down, let’s pray, I’m hungry.”  That’s what Don is saying. :-)100_3091

Park owners put up flags all around the park for this July 4th weekend.  100_3099100_3102100_3111

We were told that they usually have a big camping crowd here during this weekend, but all two camping groups have shown up so far… this one and another up closer to the highway by the creek, as well.100_3092

From the Q, I liked the mirror scene.  The water on the pond is so still. 100_3106

The temp was a little cooler today, enough so that we could eat outside in the shade and enjoy.  Not cold by any stretch of the imagination, but cooler than the 90’s plus we’ve been having.  Lower humidity and slight breeze helped, too.

Oh, yes, I’ve been avoiding talking about how badly Mama Trudy beat us in Mexican Train dominoes today!

Think About It…

“We, being human, will distort our fellow men through our own spiritual eyes, unless and until we have the viewpoint of Christ.  And we can only have this at last, by a complete and entire surrender of our selves (including our precious viewpoints) into the hands of the living God!  Christ, alone, through His Holy Spirit, can give us the viewpoint which He has.

… If we are to have the viewpoint of Christ we cannot condemn, we can only care.”  -- from Discoveries by Eugenia Price, Chapter 2-“No Condemnation,” pgs 17 & 18.
