Lake Waco

This afternoon, Don and I toured a few of the campgrounds and day-use parks around Lake Waco.

This one is across the bridge from our park.

Next trip, we will take the grands to this playground!

I’ve never seen this wildflower.  Looks like Lantana.  

There’s a really nice beach area at this day-use park.

Can you believe the disrespect and disregard for rules?  You’d think they would be appreciative of a very inexpensive form of relaxation and pick up after themselves!

And campground and marina.  There sure were a lot of boathouses docked here.

There were two of the great looking cabins.  Not far from here was another nice beach area that’s more secluded.

We didn’t make it around to all of the parks, but we liked what we saw.
