Back to exercising this morning, walking briskly for thirty minutes, without the camera. It was pretty humid, but only in the low 70’s.
Mid-morning, this very long toy hauler pulled into the park. Three axles… wow!
I was in the mood for horses today. It’s hard to believe she is twenty-five years old.
There was a small herd of deer in the pecan orchard, too, with a young buck.
We just love watching them graze.
We found our water shoes and took off for the creek. It’s really warm today and the cool spring water felt so good!
We walked across the creek to the other side and I got some good pictures of the holes burrowed by the black squirrels that Tom was telling us about. That’s Tom and Lisa’s house and when the squirrels make those holes in the cliff, it makes the ground under his house weaker. That’s not a good thing.
Tom says, they’re not good to eat… not good for anything but digging in the rock and dirt. This is the hole that is to the far left in the picture above.
Seeing this, we can understand Tom’s concern.
A nice view of the chapel from across the creek.
A view of the cabins on top of the cliff.
A dead tree right in the middle of the island. The creek runs on both sides of this island.
Campers arrived last night and are staying in one of the cabins. They’re headed for a swim in the crystal clear creek.
The following picture is … “For Snookie,” Don said.
I went a little too far out in the creek and got my shorts wet!!
My birthday roses have opened more and I am enjoying them immensely.
1 Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
See you in church!
