Dogs, birds, deer and spiders.

Today, park owner Tom, right, and handy man extraordinaire, Jasper, are preparing to pour concrete around the new showers and laundry room area.100_3830

Chance is a permanent “fixture” here.  His owner, Cliff, rescued him and gave him another …. chance.  Chance is a Rat Terrier and a very handsome and sweet one, at that.2011 May 24 JCRV Park & Chance-1

Lisa, borrowed Mr. Ken’s (another permanent fixture) car and went on an errand to town.  Sweet ride, huh?100_3838

And Johnson Creek from yet another angle.100_3839100_3840

Wildflowers along the creek bank. 100_3841

Hundreds of tiny little water spiders running across the top of the water near the bank.  Looks like good fish food to me.100_3843

Got the male of a Cardinal pair.100_3844

Our microwave/convection oven and… 100_3847

and our fireplace are missing!100_3848

A couple of days ago, our convection oven stopped working and months ago, our fireplace stopped working.  The RV repairman also worked on our air conditioner yesterday and now it’s working good and not freezing up anymore.  Don talked to him today and he said he already has the fireplace working.  The convection oven may be a little more difficult.  Thank God for extended warranty.

Well, that’s our Tuesday in pictures.

Tonight, we watched the Weather Channel as all of our family were under tornado warnings in Oklahoma.  Even our friends in Kaufman, Texas had tornado warnings.  Right now, Waco is expecting high winds and hail.

Thank God for His protection.

I will have to say that Johnson Creek looks beautiful! We are on or third convection oven. Hope yours keeps on working, hard to get along without a microwave.
