We had planned to spend the day with Mom and Pops (aka Wink and Dovie, taken at our wedding reception) today, but Don woke up feeling the worst yet, so we called off our plans.
I took a little ‘camera stroll’ and it seems that these trees in the park have not received the memo that it’s autumn.
However, the hickory trees are producing for the squirrels, adequately.
The squirrels have already helped themselves.
I love the trees in this park.
A few wildflowers are still visible.
Pecans in various stages of maturity.
This tree needs to share that memo with the rest of the trees in the park.
My favorite picture of the day.

Wow, those trees are amazing -- we love trees around here (a rarity in Nebraska!).
