Tremendous Thursday

Feeling some better this morning.  Don is in rare form, praise the Lord.  He's having a ball walking around visiting with everyone.

We have lost several out of the park during the summer and others who have lost loved ones.  Please pray for these.  If you've ever gone through the grieving process, you know how hard it is.  They need our prayers and encouragement.

It was much cooler this morning when we got up.  Don tried to sit outside with his cup of java in shorts, but it was just a little too cool for him... needed his big boy breeches on.

I have been meaning to tell you about the young lady in the Antlers, OK area.  If you remember, back in August we went there to go to church with Ron and Georgeanne Jarman.  About two weeks ago, this young lady, recently out of prison with so much bondage in her life, came to church on Sunday morning and was saved.  That week, she was bitten by a rattlesnake and by the next Sunday, she was dead.   During the following week, because of this happening, an older gentleman called Ron and wanted to give his life to Jesus Christ.  After the funeral service, the young ladies sister realized how much God loves her and her need for Jesus in her life and she was saved.  The mom has also confessed that she needs Jesus and Ron is counseling her.  We never know when it's our time to go and by God's mercy, this young lady is now in heaven and two more will join her when it's their time to go.  We are expecting a call from Ron any day with the glorious news that the mother has given her life to God.

We are so blessed.
