Three days in a row, I've ridden my bike for two miles. Yeah me!
Also, went to choir practice this morning.
Don went on his usual morning walk/visiting in the park.
We sat outside for a bit watching the yellow butterfly on our bougainvillea bush.
About noon, friends Bill and Peggy Bullock arrived. We walked down and visited with them a few minutes and invited them to come down to the Q while their 5'er was cooling down. We made plans to go out to dinner together tonight.
While we were visiting with Peg and Bill, Nancy and George Reid arrived and parked next door to Peg and Bill. We walked down and introduced them to each other. I greeted Nancy with a flash when she opened the door. Nancy trying to hide behind George.
We left them to finish setting up. We're looking forward to a week with them, catching up with their Sowers' projects and their future plans.
Tonight, we took Peg and Bill to the Creative Cafe for dinner. Of course the food was good, but we were disappointed that the "kids" only work during the lunch time. We feel like everyone should experience James and his, "Were you a good girl/boy today?" The Bullock's are only here for one night and will be on their way to their winter destination in Apache Junction in the morning. That's not far from here so we plan to see them again.
In what other lifestyle could we make friends with wonderful folks from all over the U.S. and Canada? Today, not two, but four of them came to see us!
We are so blessed.
