Happy Anniversary

Today we are celebrating seven years of wedded bliss for daughter, Leslie and son-in-law, Khalil.  They met in the summer of 2001. Being the baseball fans that they both are, Khalil proposed to Leslie in center field of the Baylor Bears baseball field. 

Khalil bought the ring... Leslie bought the dress. And on

November 24, 2001,

they were married in the Foyer of Meditation, Armstrong Browning Library on the campus of Baylor University, Waco, Texas.

Leslie asked her mother to escort her to where Khalil was waiting for her with the minister and their attendants in the above gorgeous room.

The happy couple waiting for the birth of their first child. The happy family with both miracle blessings. The Happy Couple - forever in love. And their recent much needed vacation to Riviera Cancun, Mexico, helps to keep the flame glowing. (Thanks to Aunt Nae-Nae for watching the kids for a week.)

We are so proud of Leslie and Khalil; happy that God brought the two of them together; overjoyed that they both love the LORD and are raising our grandchildren to love and serve the LORD, as well.  May God bless you with many, many more years together.
