Don's back is beginning to realize what we've been sleeping on.  Note to self:  got to get some Aleve.

We spent the day with Mama Trudy, cooking a delicious meal to go with brisket that Mike had cooked earlier in the week.   Meal was followed by a good nap.  [How in the world am I going to work all day long when we get to Coffeyville??? I need prayer.]  It's a good thing we woke up when we did because Mama was just about to wake us up to play dominoes.

We played dominoes until it was time to go over to LaNae's to visit with them and watch the OU football game.  We had a good time playing with the kids, snacking, looking at pictures, snacking, watching the game, snacking, talking, snacking.  Don, being a cook himself, didn't want to hurt Mike's feelings, so he ate three different kinds of cheese cake that they had prepared for the wedding and shower of a friend this morning.  Needless to say, we had to say our good-byes and leave before the game was over so Don could take his meds.
