Snookie has me hooked on old barns and out buildings. I'm seeing them everywhere now.Don preached here this morning and we also attended Sunday School.Don being welcomed by one of the church members.Countryside Baptist has been meeting in this house for three years.Music was a steel guitar, a mandolin and a guitar. We sang about six or seven songs. This precious gentleman wore hearing aids, but that didn't stop him from playing and he was really good.As it often happens, Don had thought God was leading him to preach one message and then at almost the last minute, God led him to a different sermon, which goes along with part of his message... being flexible enough to hear and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
More old buildings. This house just screams, "I've seen lots of life!" Can't you just see little children running around the house barefoot? This barn probably isn't all that old, but like the way it's nestled down in front of the trees. At three o'clock, we drove into Norman for Don to speak at the Mission Norman service. This is mostly attended by the volunteers at Mission Norman, but is open and attended by folks in the community. Gene Barnes is the director of the mission.
Prayer request:
Please pray for Don as he travels to Iowa tomorrow. Pray for safety and as God directs you. Thank you.
