... we are SO glad that Rick and Wendy listened to your two cents worth. It's worth far more than two cents to us!!!
Wonderful friends that we met at Quail Run, winter of 2008, are now at our park after they realized that Rick could not tolerate the 8,000 plus elevation in Colorado at their workamping job. Also, they decided that Shelley Wright was RIGHT and they just need some rest and relaxation. Delight and glee just barely describe how we feel about them choosing to rest and relax near us. Welcome to Oklahoma, Rick and Wendy!! We are so happy that you're here!!
Tonight, after they got their 5'er set up, they were exhausted, especially Rick, so we took them to dinner. See!! They really are here!!This place knows how to serve tea and water! When we got back to the park after dinner, we sat in the 'Q' for a while to visit and let our dinner digest.
Rick was telling a very interesting story. Wendy is making sure he's telling it right.
The guys decided to set up Rick and Wendy's DirecTV dish before it got too dark.
To report on Don's trip to Eufaula... it was a great success and it was really good for Don to be a part of the CRM work there for a couple of days. Don arrived back in Norman about 3:30.
After two days of not feeling very well, Mama Trudy got up this morning feeling much better... more her normal self. So, we loaded my stuff in the pickup and headed for the 'Q' to wait for Rick and Wendy to arrive. We only arrived about thirty minutes before they did. I was so excited about them coming to see us, that I walked out toward the gate to wait for them and I forgot to take my camera. Can you believe that? Rick couldn't believe that I didn't have my camera. I'm sure he thought I had had surgery to remove it from my hand.
So that's our Terrific Thursday! Hope your's was as enjoyable.
We are so blessed.
