Saturday's events

Etowah Road to Macomb, OKFairly early this morning, Don and I went over to Macomb to visit Regina and her husband, Philip.  Don had spoke to her yesterday evening on the phone in regard to Philip's condition, he has COPD.  At that time, she told Don that Philip's breathing was very shallow and far between and when we got to her house this morning, we learned that Philip had died at 7:15 this morning.  We visited with Regina, her daughter and Philip's daughter and prayed with them.

After leaving Regina's, we went to visit another lady, who is a member of the church there.  We had a nice visit with her.

Back in Norman, we ate lunch at Rudy's BBQ and then drove over to the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History for what we thought was the 2:00 PM wedding of the son of a friend.  Well, the wedding wasn't at 2:00 PM, it was at 7:00 PM.

While at the museum, we learned that today, admission was free, so we walked around for a little, until Don ran out of energy. Even so, we are so blessed.
