Friend from Sunscape emailed us regarding her sister-in-law's sister who were both in a motorcycle accident:
"Yes Terry is Ricki's (my sis-in-law) sister, but they both need our prayers. I talked to my brother a couple of times today and it seems after more x-rays Terry has a few more injuries than first thought. She broke both sides of her clavicle (collarbone), her left shoulder and left arm, and the bone just below the kneecap was shattered. She also sustained a severe cut on her upper left biceps that required about 7 or 8 stitches and another cut on her forearm that required stitches along with a deep puncture wound. She is going to go in to surgery both Monday and Tuesday to have some steel plates put in her arm, shoulder and leg. All in all she is very lucky. She has a good outlook and was very grateful for all of the prayers."
Also, heard from another friend regarding little three year old Jocelyn, who was waiting on a heart transplant:
"Joce got her new heart in the wee morning hours Fri. from a little boy who suffered from a tick born disease. Her oxygen levels are great, but they put her back on ECMO until her body and new heart get acquainted. I was told the first four days will be rocky, so keep praying diligently for all of them. The team wants them to be close for at least six months, so also pray they will find a place to live (Little Rock) for their extended stay. I know they greatly appreciate the prayers!!!"
Don and I visited with a lady who attended our church when Don was the pastor at Macomb Baptist Church. Her husband passed away peacefully at 7:15 this morning. Pray for Regina and Phillip's family.
So many needs, hurts, and concerns. We appreciate all your prayers for these needs, our needs and God's will to been done always.
