Remembering Mama Trudy (and Sandy Hook children and teachers)

My First Christmas in Heaven

I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below,

with tiny light, like heaven’s stars, reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so spectacular; please wipe away that tear,

for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,

but the sounds of music can’t compare with the Christmas Choir up here.angels singing ChristsSecondComing

I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,

for it is beyond description to hear the angles sing.

I know how much you miss me.  I see the pain inside your heart,

but I am not so far away.  We really aren’t apart.

So be happy dear ones.  You know I hold you dear

and be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

I send you each a special give from my heavenly home above.

I send you each a memory of my undying love.

After all, “Love” is the gift, more precious than pure gold.

It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,

for I can’t count the blessings or love He has for you.

So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away those tears.

Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

This was sent to me by a friend. Thanks, Bob and Barb.  Barb’s mother also went Home to be with Jesus this year.

As I read this, tears fell.  I just couldn’t help myself.  I miss Mama. Yet at the same time, I am so happy for her.

I can’t help, also, thinking about all the grandmothers and grandfathers who are in Heaven right now, loving on all the children that have entered there. That vision brings comfort to my heart.

Focus on Heaven.  Our Hope is in Jesus.

This is very comforting, thank you for posting it in your blog. As well as the one below this one.

My condolences for the passing of your mother; my mother passed away this year, too. She would have been 99 this past Friday, and was a strong, vibrant woman until the last few months. I miss her, too.

Hi, FancyHorse (that's makes me smile).
Thanks for stopping by.
99! Wow. That's amazing.
Dear Jesus, I pray that my mama and FancyHorse's mama have met and are now friends, too. Would you make sure they have, please? Amen.
