Oh, what a tragic day this has turned out to be.
As a society, we are all so busy and it seems even in retirement, we allow ourselves to be busier. However, I challenge you to read >>this blog post<<
and share it with your adult children.
As grandparents, we have an amazing privilege of praying for our grandchildren and the author of this blog has wonderful suggestions and scripture guides for us all.
The best way to honor those innocent children and the families they left behind is to make the most of everyday with our children that we have been blessed with. There is no greater pain than to lose a child, dear God, may I never know that kind of grief. ~ Erin DeRusha
Just this: We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. ~Romans 8:26 ~ posted by Michelle DeRusha
And while you are praying, remember Israel.
God forgive us, as a nation, for pushing you out. Please come back to America. Help us to continue to be Your Light in this dark world.
In the precious name of Jesus, who loves us so. Amen.
