Friday, Date Day

Before Bubba came over to tell us about Lucy's brother, we had been over to KOA for breakfast.  While we were there, we met Bobby & Pat's daughter, Cindy and husband, Ralph.  Who do you think Cindy looks like?  Duh! 100_6610 >>Cheri and Tom Hulgen, everyone misses ya'll here.< Ralph Romaguera is from New Orleans and we really enjoyed listening to him talk.  He' not Cajun, but has more of a Boston type accent.  He was funny.  You may hear about him in a sermon one of these days.100_6611  As we were leaving KOA, I took this picture of a "smart" car. 100_6612 Can you see Don & I trying to put this on?  After Don's meeting with Dennis Maloney and Dr. John Moore regarding the free clinic plans here in Branson, Don and I went to see the new Indiana Jones movie.   It was ok.  They over-used that Indiana Jones theme song... it's still playing in my head.  For dinner, we went to the Fall Creek Steak & Catfish house. 100_6615 While we were here last summer, this building was being re-built after burning down.  While they were putting the trusses on, the whole thing collapsed, injuring three workers.   Glad to see they got it built, finally. 100_6617 While we were waiting to be seated, I perused the gift shop.  This is for you, Sharon Peterson. 100_6619 Here's my handsome date.100_6623  Meet Rocko, our waiter.  He was really busy and felt that his service to us was slow.  We were in no hurry.  I was enjoying watching the creek that ran along the back of the restaurant and Don was watching the waiters toss rolls from the balcony.  Anyway, Rocko offered us free dessert, but we were too full, so he took the price of the dessert off our bill.  Nice guy, that Rocko.  So when in Branson, eat at the Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House (food was good) and ask for Rocko.  Don't forget to leave him a generous tip. 100_6624 I've talked to LaNae and Mama on the phone.  They made it to Corsicana and were visiting with everyone. Aunt Lillian and cousins were so glad that Mama/Aunt Trudy came.  They've all been loving on her like crazy.  I'm so glad.

Jimmy just called.  He and Lucy got to Shreveport about 7:00.  Lucy is doing really good.  Her mom's not doing so good.  Gary Don was her baby.
