Ten Commandments of Working in a Hostile Environment

It’s so hot here that all we do is stay in the Q and read, watch TV, check emails and FaceBook, and surf the Web.  Oh yes, and eat.

Today, I found a website of a local organization founded by the HEB Corporation, called The Foundation for Laity Renewal, located nearby in Kerrville.  Check it out >>http://www.thehighcalling.org/<<

I subscribed to the update they send out everyday and received this letter via email:

Dear High Calling Subscriber,
We're so glad you recently joined The High Calling. Our website exists to help Christians connect with God in every part of their daily life, including their work. Every week, we publish new content to help encourage people with a simple message: God cares about your work!
You can find this week's resources on our homepage, where we publish articles, interviews,
audio messages, daily Bible reflections, and links to great content in The High Calling Community, all created specifically to encourage you in your daily work.

Because we update our content several times each day, we have over 3,000 resources about faith and work! To keep the depth of the site from being overwhelming, you can easily search our archives or browse the recommended articles in each of our six categories: work, family, faith, culture, leadership, and attitude.
Below, we're recommending some of our most encouraging content.
Sincerely,
Dan Roloff
Editorial Director
Foundations for Laity Renewal

My motivation for reading articles from this website is to learn ways to encourage friends who are still in the workforce whether full-time, part-time or volunteering.

From an article posted, I found these Ten Commandments of Working in a Hostile Environment. They are in a JPEG format and can be saved to your pictures folder for future reference or printing off and posting at your work station, etc.:
