The deer feeder in the orchard is broke and doesn’t dispense the corn, so Tom, the owner, gave me permission to dip the corn out and scatter it on the ground for the Axis to eat each evening, until the corn is all gone.
This is what one might call a “young buck.”
They wait until I am gone back to the Q and then they emerge quickly from the thicket on the perimeter of the orchard.
