Sunday is here!

Contemplation on a cool Sunday morning.100_4219

This is our view from the Q. 100_4221

The view at another angle, with early morning sun shining through.100_4220

Mike, the first worshipper arriving for his first time.100_4222

Mike was the beginning of the Little House on the Prairie sort of thing as they begin coming up the hill. 100_4223

Debbie and Richard spotted me in the door of the chapel.  100_4224

Jack and Lettie.  The glare is because I’m taking this through the window.100_4225

Lettie is so cute in her little black dress.  Tony and Peggy in the background. 100_4226

Check out I Peter 4:8-11 for Don’s text this morning.  It was a great message about some of the gifts God has given us and what they are supposed to look like on us and what we need to do with them for others.

From the Chapel in the Hills, we went to FBC Ingram and heard another wonderful message.  One of the things that Pastor Chris said was regarding Jesus Christ.  No other religion in the world has a living Savior who has the power to forgive and sanctify our sin.  No one but Jesus Christ can forgive sin.  No one but Jesus Christ can satisfy the wrath of God toward us regarding our sin.  Jesus Christ is the only who who can and has paid our sin debt!

This afternoon, the Whitetail doe came very close to the Q, but we were inside, so I took these pics through the galley window.100_4229

There was also a herd of Axis deer in the orchard, but the Whitetail stayed to herself, making sure that none of the other deer got near her “secret” blue bowl of food setting in the grass by Sonny and Melinda’s site. 100_4231

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Philippians 4:9)

The believer is most satisfied when he is most glorifying God with his life. Through his faith, God's grace works in his life to do good. Daily he is being conformed to the image and quality of the God he serves. Recognize, O Christian, whom God has made you and do well according this truth. And peace will be yours! So says the Word of the Lord!
