Wednesday

Mama Trudy has not felt as good today as she did yesterday.  She has stayed up pretty much all day, with only one or two short naps.  She says her head still just doesn't feel right, not dizzy, but just on the verge.  We walked here in the apartment more than yesterday trying to get her blood flowing and she said it helped.

Leslie got to LaNae's yesterday afternoon and brought all the grandkids over this morning for about 1 1/2 hours.  They have so much energy and we enjoyed seeing all of them and visiting with Leslie.  Diesel is now running everywhere he goes and can say, "Nonna."  Makes me smile. He's only five pounds lighter than his four year old sister and wears the same size shoe.  Big boy; tiny girl... but don't you dare let her hear you call her tiny.  She's a BIG girl.

Rocket loves to take pictures, so I figured it was the best way to get pictures of them.100_7141I took this one of Rocket.100_7145100_7148 100_7149This is my 10 year old Lydia.  This is a big recliner... just look at those long legs.100_7160 Diesel on the move.100_7164Rocket caught me watching the girls sing their VBS songs, with motions.  It just doesn't get any better than hearing your grandchildren sing about Jesus.100_7168

While Don went to see friends and go to the grocery store, Mama Trudy did more reminiscing about her childhood as I typed. (see next post)  Then she napped while I made a peach/blueberry/cherry cobbler.. all fresh fruit.  Don cooked dinner and when Mama got up, she felt better and enjoyed her dinner.  We played dominoes for a long time tonight and then she went to bed about 9:30.

Home health did not call back today.  Guess they are still waiting for Dr. Davis or Dr. Lucas (who is on vacation) to sign off on home health therapy for Mama as prescribed by the doctor who saw her in the hospital.  Will give them a call tomorrow if they don't call first.

So glad you enjoyed your grandkids. Glad to hear your mom is up and about even though she is not up to par. We will keep you in our prayers. It is so neat that you are able to get the memories down on paper. So many families don't even think about getting that info from their parents/grandparents. I love listening to old stories from yesteryear. Take care. We miss you!
