Resurrection Requires a Response!
What is your response:
Denial?
Doubt?
Devotion?
I wanted to praise Him with uninhibited devotion this morning with the children.
This morning was the first morning in the New Beginnings Baptist Church new worship center.
We had a glorious time of worship with Stephanie and family. Son-in-law, Rick, is part of the worship leading team.
Back at their house, while waiting for Rick to finish up with the second service, I took advantage of the time to take a few family pictures.
Grandkids, Logan, Stephanie and Taylor. I’m very pleased with this picture!!
And this one! What beautiful and great kids!
But…. they are kids and kids will be kids! (They are fun!)
Next, we added Papa Don and Stephanie, their mom and Don’s daughter, to the picture. What a handsome bunch!
Kristina took this picture of my handsome preacher man and me.
After a delicious Easter lunch of salad, lasagna (homemade by Stephanie), and green bean bundles, I got this picture of the Vaughan family. Rick looks much better after he’s eaten, so I decided to wait until after lunch to take this picture. :-)
Revive Church, a new mission venture that the family (and the company where Rick works) is involved with, had planned a meal, Easter egg hunt for the kids and worship time, but the weather didn’t cooperate. It has rained all day, so the five o’clock event had to be cancelled.
Don and I headed to the Q for an afternoon of rest while the rain did a great job of lulling us to sleep.
Question:
Can someone please explain to me why anyone would refuse the free gift of grace, forgiveness and salvation by a Savior who is ALIVE and wants a relationship with them?
Is it because no one has told them?
Father, please shine the Light of Your Truth in the hearts and minds of all who do not understand and please use us to tell the Good News to everyone. In the precious name of our RISEN LORD, JESUS CHRIST. Amen
