Fabulous Friday

My wonderful husband walked with me to the Community Center for choir practice.  Have I told you how much I love this choir?

While I'm at choir practice, Don's doing his usual morning rounds.

After choir, Thelma and I practiced for the Wednesday night gospel jam.  She sure has her hands full trying to make me sound good, but if anyone can do it, "T" can.

Lunch was at the China Buffet in CG.  OK, we've done that.

This afternoon, I rode the bike alone.  Took a different route outside the park.  While I was riding, I saw the good doctor's hot air balloon, so I rushed home to get my camera.  I almost didn't make it.balloon sets down in the desert

100_1952 I met several really nice ladies while I was riding my bike.  One gal runs half marathons.  Skinny little thing.  Had to keep reminding myself... "LaVon, uh, preacher's wife."

Just kidding... a little writer's humor.

And then, the hot air balloon caught my eye again.  It was so close I could hear the burners.100_1954

Date night... Don and I went to see a chick flick:  New In Town.  Really cute story.  Thanks, Sweetheart.  Happy Valentine's Day to you.

Love your pictures! And what do you mean about someone trying to make you sound good? You have a beautiful voice! Good for you on the bike riding. We haven't been on ours in a couple of weeks. The colds did us in. Starting to feel better again. Love you guys.
